DESCRIPTION:Join the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience at UCCS in working through the experiences of direct and secondary trauma. As we enter the anniversary period of the Marshall Fire\, join fellow community providers and responders in vital education on post-disaster experiences and learn real ways de-escalate yourself and others while enhancing trauma-informed communication. Led by licensed mental health professionals specializing in trauma and emergency responders\, attendees in this workshop will walk away with new knowledge and tangible skills in combating stress and trauma and building resilience.
